The shelter, at 1067 N.E. Columbia Blvd. in Portland, will open at 10 a.m. for viewing.
All of the 95 cats seized will be made available for adoption as soon as they are healthy, said David Lytle, a society spokesman. The animals were seized Nov. 1 from filthy conditions at a home on Southeast Foster Road. The society cited the woman this week on animal neglect, and she gave up ownership, Lytle said.
?These animals have some of the worst medical conditions I have seen in a hoarding case,? said Dr. Kris Otteman, director of shelter medicine.
Many are being treated for serious respiratory infections, dental disease and malnutrition, and several lost eyes.
The shelter is accepting donations of funds and cat food to cover the costs of care. For information, visit the society's website.
