US twins give birth minutes apart in same hospital

VOORHEES, New Jersey (AP) ? Twin sisters in New Jersey have given birth to their first children just minutes apart in the same hospital.

Danielle and Nicole Fisher were in adjacent rooms, and the boys were born 13 minutes apart Tuesday night.

The women had been born within 12 minutes of each other 23 years ago.

Nicole tells The Courier-Post newspaper it just has something to do with "that twin communication." They say they didn't plan to get pregnant at the same time.

Danielle gave birth to Jonathan at 7:43 p.m. Nicole, who wasn't due for two weeks, delivered Maximus minutes later.

The twins' mother, Lisa Fisher, tells the newspaper it's unbelievable.
