Aurora looking for non-profits to help with parade

AURORA ? The city is looking for non-profit organizations to work as parade route marshals for the annual Memorial Day Parade, scheduled for May 28.

The organizations will be responsible for getting volunteers to work two to three hours the day of the parade. A donation will be made to the volunteer organizations for their efforts.

The application deadline for participating is April 16. Applications can be downloaded on the city?s website at www.aurora-il.org under the ?Special Events? tab. For information, call the city?s Community Services Department at 630-256-3400.
