According to iOS hacker ih8sn0w, Apple has randomly begun signing iOS 6.0.x firmwares, such as iOS 6.0.1. If you need to downgrade your A5+ iOS device so you can jailbreak it with evasi0n, now is the time to do so.

You will need to place your iOS device into DFU mode and restore via the iOS 6.0.x firmware file. Apple is currently signing the following jailbreakable firmwares:

iOS 6.0
iOS 6.0.1
iOS 6.0.2

It is unknown how this window of opportunity will last, but many people are reporting success after ih8sn0w's news. Hurry while you have a chance!

Update: Sorry folks, party is over. Apple is no longer signing the jailbreakable firmwares. DO NOT attempt to restore your firmware to an earlier version, as it will no longer work. Stick with what you have.
